The rules of the wharf

1. Whose cove this is

These terms cover your use of saltboxcove.com (“Saltbox Cove”, “we”, “us”), which is run by the operator of saltboxcove.com. By using the site you accept them.

2. Who may come down the planks

Saltbox Cove is for users aged 19 or over only, and every visit is your confirmation that you are 19 or over.

3. Coins in the pail

• The coins every game runs on are virtual and come free of charge.
• Coins have no monetary value, and they count as neither money nor credit nor property.
• Purchasing, selling, withdrawing or transferring coins is not possible, and neither is exchanging them for money, goods, services or prizes; the cove has no in-app purchases.
• Dulse puts up no prize of real-world value, ever.
• At any time we may adjust coins, levels and features, or reset them.

4. Not one real-money wager

Real-money gambling is kept off the whole of Saltbox Cove, neither offered nor promoted, and no link leads to a gambling operator.

5. Your cove card

• You need a free account for Brinehouse Hoops and Headwind Picnic. One account per person, and never shared.
• Keep your password private, and should anyone else use your account, tell us without delay.
• Your account page has a delete button you may use whenever you like; it acts at once and is final.
• We may suspend an account that disrupts the site, or one whose holder we believe to be under 19.
• Coins, levels and missions sit with the account; they are never your property, and they can be reset.

6. Fair use of the wharf

Leave the site in peace: don’t try to disrupt it, don’t point automated tools at it, don’t offer coins in trade, and don’t let anyone under 19 use it.

7. When the fog comes in: availability and liability

The site comes to you “as is”, and any piece of it may be changed or taken down by us. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. Liability that the law does not allow to be limited is not limited by these terms, and your statutory rights are left as they are.

8. Whose laws apply

Ontario law governs these terms, together with those federal laws of Canada that apply in the province.
